Shifu first learned calligraphy as a young child when his father, who came from an impoverished family & never went to school was recognized for his calligraphy skills by the Chinese government. At the age of 19, Shifu’s father began working for the Chinese government after being discovered for his skills & abilities.
Shifu teaches that martial arts is everything in life. How you move your body, your mind or your brush all roots back to the same philosophy.
Hand painted to order, all calligraphy will come with Shifu’s signature Guan Yin Imperial Jade stamp. As they are hand painted by Shifu to order, each piece is unique. Shipping is slightly higher for calligraphy items since we have to take precautions that they do not get bent in the mail.
